Nancy G. Patton, 57, cherished mother and sister, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007 in Spokane, Wa. Nancy suffered a heart attack in Billings, Mt. a week earlier and was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wa. for further treatment.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 23, 2007 at Coffelt's Funeral Chapel, 109 N. Division Ave., in Sandpoint, Idaho. Chuck Wigton will be officiating.
Interment will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Nancy was born on February 17, 1950 in Cottonwood, Idaho the daughter of Augustus Raymond Patton and Julia Elmira (Petersen) Patton. She spent most of her childhood and young adult life in Sandpoint, Id., graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1968. Nancy also graduated from beauty school in Sandpoint and worked in shops here before opening her own shop in her home.
The family later moved to Challis, Id. where the girls grew up. She then changed occupations and became a miner. She worked in the mines in Idaho, Montana and Nevada and spent the past 4 years in Northern Alaska at the Red Dog Mine.
Nancy had recently purchased a new motorhome, looking forward to retirement to spend more time with her girls doing things they most love doing; traveling, fishing, rafting and coming home to Sandpoint and spending time with her sister on the lake that she loved.
She is survived by her two daughters that she cherished more than anything. Missie of Billings, Mt. and Niki and her husband Cactus Anderson of Columbus, Mt. Her sister Linda and husband Dave Dillon of Sandpoint, Id. A nephew David and his wife Ann and their children Julia and Austin and a niece Deanna and her husband Mark and their son Alex.
Nancy was preceded in death by her grandparents and parents Gus and Judy Patton.
Nancy loved life and played hard and worked hard. She will be missed and her memories will be cherished by her family and all her friends.
