Kevin William Garvey, 54, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho on Saturday, February 12, 2011.
Kevin was born on April 8, 1956 in Sandpoint, Idaho and attended Bonner County Schools. He was a carpenter and worked commercial and home construction jobs. He had a million friends. He lived in Colorado, New Mexico, and California before returning to Sandpoint, his beloved hometown. Kevin loved his family and his friends. He only saw the best in every person. Everyone who knew Kevin will attest to his kind, generous nature and his unmatched sense of humor.
He is survived by 4 sisters Lois (Rudi) Lebowitz, in Lompoc, California; Teresa (Terry) Sudut in Anchorage, Alaska; Shannon (Duane) Abromeit in Sandpoint, Idaho; Colleen (Jerry) Dalebout in Priest River, Idaho; his brother Pat (Nita) Garvey in Sandpoint, Idaho. Also surviving is a daughter Marie (Matt) Kohl McMaster and a granddaughter, Maisie Luke McMaster, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Marie Garvey; his very much loved nephew Russell Marley; and his big brother Sean Garvey.
