John Henry Anderson, 94, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2007 in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the Sandpoint Christian Center, 2225 N. Boyer Ave., in Sandpoint, Idaho.
John was born on June 21, 1912 in Rock Spring, Wyoming the son of John E. and Bertha O. (Philbrick) Anderson.
John served his country with the US Army during World War II. He entered the service on July 24, 1942 from Spokane, Wa. serving until December 5, 1945. He received the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal, The Bronze Star Medal, American Theater Service Medal, Good conduct Medal and Victory Medal.
He worked in the logging and lumber industry in Priest River, Idaho. In later years he worked as a concrete finisher in Priest River, Id.
He is survived by his son Hunter Anderson of Sandpoint, Idaho.
