William Charles Reid

William Charles “Bill” Reid, 53, passed away at his home near Clark Fork on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 2nd, in the Clark Fork Cemetery. Bill Reid was born in Eugene, Oregon on Nov. 23, 1957 the son of Luther and Alice Reid. He attended schools in Oregon and started working, as a logger, on the Oregon Coast. He later moved to Clark Fork and established his ranch. Bill married Pamela Francis on January 16, 2003 in Sandpoint, Idaho. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in Oregon and North Idaho. He was known for lending a helping hand to his neighbors and his friends, he will be missed. He is survived by his wife Pam Reid in Clark Fork, ID; 5 brothers Jeff Reid in Wallport, OR; Dave Reid in Troy, MT; Gary Reid in Monroe, OR; Larry Reid in Clark Fork, ID; Jacob Reid in Siletz, OR; 3 sisters Velinda Mack in Salem, OR; Sara Tadlock in Bend, OR; Donna Thurman in Alsea, OR. numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary Tadlock.
