Dwayne Curtis Lund was born on Oct. 11, 1962, and joined the Lord on April 5, 2011.
He is survived by his parents, Zane and Velma Lund of Samuels; his sisters, Carol (Mike) Brown of Kootenai and Jane (Bob) Greathouse of Bogart, Ga. Je is also survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lund; and his granddaughter, Anna Marie Ruff; as well as his adopted daughter, Holly Miller; and adopted granddaughter, Lorelai. He also is survived by his nephews, Dan May, Jesse Brown, and Bobby Brown. He was cared for by his loving girlfriend, Kim Hauck; and her sons, Bradley and Ashton.
Dwayne attended Northside Elementary, and graduated from Sandpoint High School. Dwayne served his country as a member of the Idaho National Guard. He was a loving and respectful son and brother. He was a loving and generous father.
He enjoyed the outdoors, which included fishing, swimming in Pack River, hiking, hunting, huckleberry picking, camping, and exploring with his ATV.
Dwayne, you are an angel and we know that you are watching over everyone you loved. We will miss you and will never forget the blessings you brought into our lives and this world.
Memorial service will be held at Western Pleasure’s main lodge on Saturday, April 9, at 3 p.m..
