Beryl Ann Morgan, 88, of Sandpoint died Friday, April 15, 2011 at Life Care of Sandpoint.
Memorial graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Friday, April 22, 2011at the Pack River Cemetery, with Pastor Steve Bradshaw, officiating.
She was born April 18, 1922 in Elgin, Nebraska the daughter of John and Clara Richardson Bennett. She moved with her family to Hope, Idaho in 1935 where she graduated high school in 1939. She moved to Coeur d’ Alene and worked on the family dairy farm.
She later owned and operated a tavern in Colburn for a number of years at which time she retired and moved to the Northside area. She married Walt Morgan on April 24, 1981 in Coeur d’ Alene they moved into Sandpoint in 1987.
Beryl enjoyed camping, crocheting, but the joy of her life was her family.
She is survived by 3 children: Allan (Janie) Decker of Kootenai, Purley (Rita) Decker of Hope, Mary Beth (Del) Glazier of Laclede; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995, by 1 daughter, Bonnie; and by 2 brothers.
