Helene A. Wolf

Helene A. Wolf, 99, of Sandpoint died Friday, May 6, 2011 at her home. A celebration of her life will be conducted at a later time. Helene was born Sept. 30, 1911 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of Michael and Julia Urbanski Looze. She was raised in Buffalo where she graduated from South Park High School. She later attended business college in Buffalo where she earned an AA degree. Helene had lived in Florida, moving to the Sandpoint area in 1980. Helene was a warm person who enjoyed people, her family and her gardens. She was always a gardener at heart, and participated very actively in the Sandpoint Farmer’s Market for many years. She is survived by 3 daughters: Nancy (Paul) Gullickson of California, Janet Toth of Kootenai, Mikki Clark of Sandpoint; 1 son: Peter Wolf of Seattle; 13 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, Roger, and 9 siblings.
