Donald Leroy Reynolds, 70, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at his home in Bayview, Idaho.

Donald was born on December 4, 1941 in Hamilton, Montana the son of Raymond and Myrtle Reynolds. He grew up in Spirit Lake, Idaho and never really enjoyed school so he enlisted in the United States Army. Having entered the Army at 17 years of age he went through Air Jump School and Rifle Training with a very high marksman and achievement award. In the Army he found his calling and wanted to make it into a career, but after six months in the United States he was shipped to the German Tank Command. While serving in Germany he was seriously injured and remained in a coma for three months in the Denver, Colorado Military Hospital.
After his release from the Military Hospital he chronically suffered from the accident for the rest of his life, but even with all of his disabilities he never lost his love of life or his ability to smile or laugh.
Lori, his care giver, will always be remembered for her kindness and never ending help. She receives the greatest thanks from Don’s family and friends.
Don was a fun loving good natured man, and his brother and sister will miss him dearly. Now the LORD WILL WATCH OVER HIM.
Don is survived by his brother Douglas Reynolds of Lewiston, ID and his sister Dolly Messender of Spirit Lake, ID
He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Myrtle.
