Judy Gayle Cruzan

Judy Gayle Cruzan, 52, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 near Sandpoint Idaho. Memorial services are scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, August 20th in the VFW Hall, Osburn, Idaho. Judy was born in Butte, Montana on Nov. 26, 1958 the daughter of Kenneth and Arlene Walcker. She attended school in Wallace, Idaho graduating from Wallace High School in 1977. She married Fred Cruzan on Sept 5, 1981 in Wallace, Idaho. Judy attended North Idaho College and was preparing to attend the University of Idaho majoring in Dietary Management. She lived in St Maries, Idaho where she worked for the Valley Vista Nursing home and was a state certified dietary manager. In September of 2008 she moved to Sandpoint and went to work for the Life Care Center of Sandpoint. Judy was a classic car enthusiast and was a member of the St Joe Valley Classic Car Club. She was also a member of the Life Care Team that participated in the Relay for Life events. She always enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved being a home maker, doing craft work projects and collecting her bear figurines. She was a cancer survivor and enjoyed living life to the fullest. She is survived by her husband Fred Cruzan in Sandpoint, Idaho; 2 children Destinee R. Walcker in Sandpoint; Serene E. Owens in Hayden, ID; 6 grandchildren Kendra, Mercedes, Garrett, Blake, Dillon, and Ashtyn; her mother Arlene Walcker in Osborne, ID; her siblings Ken Walker, Brenda Maupin and Jim Walcker in Osborne, ID; and Nola Walcker in Kellogg, ID.
