Alice Joyce Sutton

Alice J. Sutton, 81, passed away in Clark Fork on Saturday, August 20, 2011. Graveside memorial services will be conducted at 3:00pm, Saturday, August 27th, in the Clark Fork Cemetery. Pastor Bob Nale will be officiating. Alice was born on August 17, 1930 in Minnewauken, North Dakota the daughter of Marshall and Julia Fjermestad. She grew up in, Minnewauken where she attended school and graduated from high school. On December 30, 1950 she married Don Sutton in Sheyenne, North Dakota. She worked as a secretary for a narcotics investigation unit in Laredo, TX and was the secretary for the Air Force base commander on Okinawa. She moved to Clark Fork, Idaho on August 1, 1970. Alice was active in the Clark Fork Senior Citizen’s Center where she volunteered. She was a member of the Clark Fork Lutheran Church, and enjoyed growing beautiful flowers. She is survived by her husband, of 60 years, Donald Richard Sutton; daughter Julie Ann (Eric) Schulz and grand daughters Eliza Kathryn Schulz and Andrea Marie Schulz; daughter Susan Renee Sutton and grand daughters Ali Caitlyn Sutton and Tessa Rechele Sutton and grand son Hunter James Sutton; sister Shirley Ann Erickson; brother Donald Paul Fjermestad, numerous nieces and nephews.
