Annabelle Rifflle

Annabelle Riffle, 89, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Family services will be held at a later date. Annabelle was born on April 24, 1922 in Denton, Montana, the daughter of Willard and Nellie Burns. The family later moved to Sandpoint and she graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1940. She married Raymond L. Riffle on September 13, 1942 in Sandpoint. She worked at a local bakery, for the Sandpoint Manor and at the Edgewater Resort, retiring in 1987. She was a longtime member of the Sandpoint Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved her vegetable and flower gardens and enjoyed crocheting, her drawings and her paintings. Annabelle is survived by her 3 children Shirley (and Ralph) Mavity of Sandpoint, ID; James (and Sally) Riffle of Spokane, WA; Richard (and Deanna) Riffle in Walla Walla, WA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, one brother and one sister.
