Rosa M. Davis, 81, of Sandpoint passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at Life Care. She was born Sept. 13, 1930 in Gwynne, Alberta, Canada the daughter of Charley and Anna Tusty.
Services will be held at a later time at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Sandpoint.
Rosa moved to Edmonds, Washington when she was 12 where she graduated from High School in 1948. On Dec. 2, 1951 she married Charles Davis in Washington. They lived in Washington until moving to Sandpoint in 1969 where she has since resided.
Rosa enjoyed sewing, making dolls and cooking.
She is survived by her 2 daughters: Gail Yaw and Teresa Butler both of Sandpoint; 2 grandchildren: Roger Butler of Tensed, Idaho, Elizabeth Thompson of Coeur d’ Alene, ID; 1 brother: Richard Tusty; and 1 sister: Ethalyn Goetz both of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, 1 son, Bruce Davis, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
