Mrs. Fay Gregg, age 71, of Rutledge, GA widow of Dick Gregg, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Ricky Haynes, Rutledge, GA, Sandra and Richard Ogden, Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Brian Ogden, Dallas, TX, Casey Haynes, Chad Haynes both of Rutledge, GA; brother and sister-in-law: Richard Law and Barbara Shott, Littleton, CO; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Bob and Shirley Gregg, Carson City, NV; nieces, Cindy Roy, Susie Repp, Littleton, CO, Julie Duran, Snowmass, VA, Kim Wolfe, Elkton, VA, Sherryl Foster, Santa Clara, UT, Tiffany Gregg, Sandpoint, ID; nephews: David Gregg, Robert Gregg.
Mrs. Gregg was a member of the Rutledge United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was born in Mineola, NY to Clifford Ettershank Shott and Florence Isabell (Coons) Shott. She moved to Littleton, CO at the age of 7 and graduated from Littleton High School. She then attended Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York City and graduated with a Merit Certificate. She earned her living at various secretarial jobs over the years. Fay loved working with her husband, the late Dick Gregg, learning the appraisal business, gardening, and taking care of the various pets who adopted her.
Funeral services were held at the Rutledge United Methodist Church in Rutledge, GA. Interment will take place in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Sandpoint.
