Elna Oman

Elna Oman, 86, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Friday, January 6, 2012 in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Pack River Cemetery. Elna was born in Sandpoint, Idaho on May 5, 1925, the daughter of Gustaf and Ida Marie Oman. The family moved to the Oden area in 1927 and Elna graduated from the 8th grade at the pack River School. She graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1944 and attended Business College in Spokane, Washington. Elna continued living in the Oden area, taking care of her mother. In 2008 she moved to Sandpoint, for health reasons. She enjoyed walking, taking long walks at the family home, and reading She is survived by her niece, Nova Bleckwenn in Cocolalla; a great niece Laya Bleckwenn; 3 great nephews Cody, Christopher, and Brandon Bleckwenn; and a great great grand niece Maggie Bleckwenn. Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister Ronnie, and two nephews Stanley and Brad.
