Jason William Nelson

Jason William Nelson passed away on January 26, 2012 at the Kootenai County Hospital in Coeur d’Alene, ID. He was 36 years old at the time of his death. On July 31, 1975 Bill and Teresa Nelson welcomed in to the world their first son Jason William in Sandpoint, Idaho. Jason attended school at Noxon elementary and went on to graduate from Noxon High School in Noxon, MT. Jason started core drilling out of high school and traveled to different parts of the country including Alaska. He also did Ironwork building Walmart’s and other types of businesses eventually becoming a foreman and running his own crews. Jason met Krista in Spokane thru friends in December 2003. On January 6 of 2005 Jason and Krista were blessed with a son, Ethan Andrew. Jason and Krista were married on July 2, 2005. They settled in Noxon, MT to begin a new life together. Jason went back to core drilling and was successful in many of the deep hole projects. He wasn’t able to continue working because of illness. Jason is survived by Krista, sons Ethan and Collin of Cheney, WA, Parents Bill and Teresa of Noxon, MT, Sister Malia (Audey) of Noxon, MT, Brothers Josh(Lisa)of Eugene OR. and Bryce of Noxon, MT., Four nieces Trinity, Kali, Chloe, Jaedyn and one nephew Shane. Maternal Grandmother Sharon Larkin of Noxon, MT. Paternal Grandmother Marlene Nelson of Trout Creek, MT. Numerous Aunts , Uncles, and Cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Larry Larkin and paternal grandfather Mel Nelson. The funeral will be held at the Noxon High School Gym on Tuesday January 31, 2012 at 2:30 pm. There will be a gathering in the Noxon High School Multipurpose room after the funeral service and burial.
