Patricia Ann Schoolcraft, 84, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho on Monday, February 20, 2012.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 24th, in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Dale Coffelt will be officiating and interment will be in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Pat was born on April 28, 1927 in Stanley, North Dakota and moved, with her family, to Bonners Ferry, Idaho in 1936. She attended Bonners Ferry Schools and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School in 1945. On
April 14, 1946 she married Grove Schoolcraft in Bonners Ferry, ID.
Pat graduated from Kinman Business College in Spokane, WA, and became a Licensed Practical Nurse in Bonners Ferry. She worked as a LPN in both Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint.
She and Grove followed his work on the Great Northern Railroad. They lived in different railroad cities in Montana and Oregon. They moved to Sandpoint in 1976.
Pat was a member of Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, the DAR, and the DAV Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping and having “tea parties” with her grand daughters. A good game of pinochle was always appreciated.
She is survived by her husband of, 65 years, Grove Schoolcraft of Sandpoint, ID; her son David Schoolcraft of Clark Fork, ID; two grand daughters Sarah Schoolcraft in Denver, CO; and Laura Schoolcraft in Ivans, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
