John Isaac Moore

John Isaac Moore better known as Johnnie died 5 March at age 78 at the Circle of Life Care in Kootenai Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. John was born on 5 July 1933 to John Burroughs and Ethel Marie Moore in Los Angeles CA, he was the youngest of four children. He left home at 15 and worked in the canneries and lumber mills. He was in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1951 to 1959. John married Sally Jeanne Stevens at age 19. John recieved Christ as his personal Savior at age 29. John and his wife Sally spent 28 wonderful years together and raised a family of 7 children before Sally passed away. John retired from CONTEL Telephone company after 26 years of dedicated service. He moved to Cocolalla ID in 2000 to be close to family. John had a zeal for life and could do anything he set his mind to doing. He was very organized and always had a project on-going. If given a choice his favorite place to be would be camping with his family near the water with his boat. He is survived by his children, Dale of Riverside CA, John of Cocolalla ID, Mel of Phoenix AZ, Teresa of Cocolalla ID, Isaac of Cocolalla ID, Nathan of Cresent City CA, Josh of Albuquerque NM. He has 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 17 March at 3 p.m. at Sagle Victory Baptist Church.
