Sandra Lee (Happell) Morais, 62, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Monday, March 19th in the First Christian Church. Pastor Tony Nelson will be officiating.
Sandy was born in Pocatello, Idaho on Sept. 30, 1949 the daughter of Robert and Delores Telles. The family moved to Southern California in the early 1950’s where she graduated from high school. She graduated from beauty school and worked as a beautician. She later taught cosmetology and was the director of 5 beauty schools in Los Angels, CA.
In 1996 she moved to the Sandpoint area working as a cosmetologist for J C Penny’s She also worked at Bonner General Hospital and was a cashier for Wal-Mart. On January 23, 2012 she married Ralph Morais in
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Sandy was a member of First Christian Church and a Sunday School Teacher there. She enjoyed taking care of her home and her family.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Morais of Sandpoint, ID; her children Erika Happell in Coeur d’Alene, ID; Bobby Happell in Colorado; grandchildren Justan and David Happell; her brothers Mike Telles in Sandpoint, ID; Robert Telles in Las Vegas, NV; and her sister Sheila Sams in Sandpoint, ID. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
