Neil Twohig

Cornelius "Neil" Thomas Twohig, 66, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 in Sandpoint, Idaho. A Memorial Mass will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, September 6, 2007 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 6th and Oak, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Father Dennis C. Day is officiating. Neil was born on February 15, 1941 in Boston, Mass. the son of Joseph and Grace (Horan) Twohig. Neil worked in the mines in Minnesota working as a brakeman on the railroad cars that hauled the ore out, retiring after 30 years. Neil retired in 1996 and moved to Sandpoint, Idaho. He was an avid skier, model trains and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He is survived by 5 sisters Grace Barass, Kathryn Clure, Barbara Callow, Ruth Fisher and Joan Schouten; 3 brothers James Twohig, Gerard Twohig and Joseph Twohig. He is also survived by Wayne and Michelle Becker his careproviders.
