Audrey Alice Cooke, 70, of Sagle passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’ Alene.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM, Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Coffelt Funeral Chapel. Dale Coffelt will be officiating with interment in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday, April 6, 2012 from noon until 5 PM at Coffelt Funeral Service.
Audrey was born October 26, 1941 in Spokane, WA. She was raised in Hope, Idaho where she met Russell “Jack” Cooke. They were married on August 2, 1958 in Superior, Montana. Together they raised their children in Sagle where they have lived for many years. Audrey was a cook at Connie’s Café from which she retired. She later ran the eatery at K-Mart until they closed.
She loved her roses and maintained a beautiful flower garden. She excelled as a seamstress and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed the time she and Jack spent with the Panhandle Historical Auto Nuts Car Club.
She is survived by three sons: Larry (Bonnie) Cooke, Michael Cooke, Fred Cooke all of Sagle; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son Kenneth, 1 sister Jeanette Huntley and a half brother.
The family suggests memorials to the Larry and Bonnie Cooke Trust, at any branch of the Horizon Credit Union.
There will be a reception immediately following the service at Audrey’s home, 146 Brisboy Rd., Sagle, Idaho
