Ernest Merton Zumwalt

Ernest M. Zumwalt, 84 on April 15th, 2012 joined his twin boys that were born on his birthday and had gone to meet their maker. The words he wrote, “I thank you God for the gifts you gave. Of a life of love and happiness- of children – dad and mom, aunts and uncles; brothers and sisters and dear friends and the love of my children’s mother, and the special love, each day of all our years together that I hold dear in my treasure chest of memories that I keep in my heart and mind. I thank thee for this loving place that Betty and I have been so happy living here. I have been blessed, I could not want for more. Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake I pray the Lord my soul to take. This I ask for Jesus sake-Amen” Ernest is survived by wife Betty; children: Arnold, Christi, Cindy and Sue; nephew: Bobby; nieces: Sandy, Debbie, Tamie and all their loving mates.
