Helen J. Weinand

Helen J. Weinand, 75, of Sandpoint passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 Valley Vista Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am on Thursday, April 26th, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Father Dennis C. Day will be officiating with burial in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Helen was born in Kootenai, Idaho on December 23, 1936 the daughter of Fred and Helen Williams. She grew up locally attending Bonner County Schools and graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1954. She worked as a secretary at Bonner General Hospital, retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, fishing and camping, visiting with friends and singing. She is survived by her mother Helen Williams of Kootenai, ID; two daughters Deborah Kemp of Sandpoint, ID; Angela Cordes of Logandell, NV; 4 grand children; two brothers Lyle Williams of Sandpoint, ID; and David Williams of Kootenai, ID; and her sister-in-law Donna Fields of Sandpoint, ID, She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers.
