Oneda Lindsay, 83, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on Monday,
May 1, 2012.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 an, Monday, May 14, 2012 in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Pastor Jon Pomeroy, Sandpoint Church of God, will be officiating.
Oneda was born on June 12, 1928 in Gardner, Colorado where she grew up and attended school. As a child, her family moved to Twin Falls, Idaho and then to San Diego, California. In Avenal, California she worked for a Pistachio Nut processing factory. She later moved to Heyburn, Idaho and worked for the JR Simplot Company and in 1996 moved to Sandpoint, Idaho. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and puzzle books.
She is survived by two daughters Pat Bacon in Ponderay, Idaho and Dixie Iwan in Burbank, Washington; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; also surviving are three sisters Evlyn Dunthorn Twin Falls, Idaho; Bonnie Hieb in Pasco, Washington; and Velda Stevens in Twin Falls, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Dave.
