Virginia Louise Ziolkoski-Nunez

Virginia Louise Ziolkoski-Nunez, 70 passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho on Sunday, May 13, 2012. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00AM, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clark Fork, with Father Dennis C. Day, officiating. Virginia was born July 7, 1941 in Eugene, Oregon the daughter of Stanley and Mary Fronk Ziolkoski. She graduated from St. Francis High School in Eugene and moved to the Bay area, earning her Bachelors degree in business. She worked for Wells Fargo Bank serving as a vice president, and branch manager prior to her retirement in 1996. She married Oscar Nunez in San Francisco on Aug. 23, 1983. Together they moved to Clark Fork in 2002. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Parish, the Hope Garden Club and Clark Fork Homemakers Club. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, music, travel and cruising. She is survived by her husband of Clark Fork, 2 sisters: Connie Underhill of Placentia, CA, Emily McGregor of Clark Fork; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be made to the Clark Fork Food Bank, or to the Panhandle Animal Shelter in memory of Virginia Ziolkoski-Nunez.
