James “Red” Krasselt, 73 of Sagle passed away at his home Saturday, June 23, 2012.
A celebration of his life will be conducted 1:00PM, Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Eagles Lodge, 1511 John Hudon Lane, Sandpoint, Idaho. Everyone is invited to stay for lunch immediately following the service.
James was born Feb. 21, 1939 in Tensed, Idaho the son of Albert and Alice Krasselt. He served in the US Army just prior to the Viet Nam War. He married Linda Copeland Powell on August 25, 1984.
Red was a self employed Commercial Refrigeration service man. He worked in both St. Maries and Sandpoint. He owned Reds Refrigeration and had many wonderful customers. He was a talented handy man and could fix almost anything and did so both in his own home but also for many of his customers and friends over the years.
Red was a member of the Eagles Lodge, and enjoyed fishing. He fished all the local waters but also traveled to Canada and Alaska to ply his hobby.
In addition to his wife of Sagle he is survived by 2 daughters: Jamie of Utah, Brandy of Clarkston, WA; 6 step children and 9 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Charles of Mesa, AZ and Don of Portland, OR; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 step-son, and 3 siblings.
