Douglas "Doug" Vaniman

Doug Vaniman, 65 of Sandpoint passed away July 18, 2012 in Sandpoint joining his son Aaron in the arms of our Lord. Doug was born June 3, 1947 in Astascadero, California the son of Ralph and Esther Vaniman. He is survived by his wife Diane, and their sons: Derek (Heather), Bret, Daniel, Scot (Allyson), Lyle (Darbye), Jacob, Peter; and 8 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00pm (Noon) Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the LDS Stake Center 602 Schweitzer Cut-Off Rd, with Bishop Robb Redford, conducting. Doug was a beloved husband and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was known for his integrity, honesty, faith and service. He was a true man of character. We are happy that Aaron has his dad back, and that he is home with his Heavenly Father. Our separation from our father is hard now, but we know we will be with our beloved family again.
