James Lyle Austin III

James Lyle Austin, III. (Jimmy) passed away unexpectedly on July, 19, 2012. Jimmy was born on January 17, 1967 in Missoula, Montana to James Lyle Austin, Jr. and Susan Flynn Austin. He was a 1985 graduate of Sandpoint High School, attended NIC College, and The University of Idaho, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. As a young man, Jimmy worked for Insight Distributing in Sandpoint. Later, he worked for Missoula Concrete Construction where he gained extensive experience working with pre-cast, pre-stressed, and decorative concrete. On May 3, 1997 Jimmy married the love of his life, Lorelee Ann Trusty, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sandpoint, Idaho. On September 22, 1999, they were blessed with the gift of son Travis. Jimmy and his family moved to Rathdrum, Idaho in June of 2005. He became partners with his sister Angela, in Austin Decorative Concrete. He accepted a position with Arrow Construction Supply in Coeur d’Alene where he was later promoted to manage the Arrow Construction Supply store in Ponderay, Idaho. He enjoyed his customers and loved his job. Jimmy enjoyed trap shooting, golf, camping, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. One of the greatest joys and where he was most at peace, was when he was at the cabin on lake Pend Orielle with his family and his dogs Razzy and Daisy Girl. He is survived by his wife Lorelee Ann Austin, son Travis James Austin of Rathdrum, Idaho, parents Jim and Sue Austin of Sandpoint, Idaho, sister Angela (Jason) Jaeger, his nephew Jacob and niece Jordan Jaeger of Hayden Lake, Idaho. He leaves behind numerous relatives and friends who thought the world of him. He was a caring loving husband, father, son and friend who will be greatly missed. A Vigil Service and Rosary will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 7:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sandpoint, Idaho. Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father Dennis Day on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 601 South Lincoln, Sandpoint, Idaho. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service. Please join us as we celebrate Jimmy’s life. Memorials are suggested to the Austin Family Fund at Wells Fargo Bank in Rathdrum, Idaho
