Carol Dee Munson

Carol Dee Munson, 72, passed away at her home, in Sagle, on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 11th in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Pastor Ken Smith, First Baptist Church, will be officiating. Carol was born in Spokane, Washington on August 4, 1940 and graduated from Rogers High School, in Spokane, in 1958. On Oct. 9, 1960 she married Roger Munson in Spokane. She lived in Wallace, Idaho prior to moving to Sagle in 1966. She drove school bus for the school district, retiring in 2005. For the last 25 years of her career she drove the handicap bus. She was a member of the Sagle area pinochle clubs and the Garden Club in Cocolalla. Carol enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Carol is survived by her husband, of 52 years, Roger Munson in Sagle; two children Sherrie Ward in Sandpoint; and Douglas Munson in Elko, NV. Also surviving are 6 grand children and 5 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Roger Munson, Jr.; and a sister Donna.
