Naomi Louise Ulen, 86, passed away in Sandpoint, ID on Thursday, December 13, 2007.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, Dec. 19th in the Sandpoint Christian Center. Pastor Wesley Ribeiro will be officiating.
Naomi was born on May 17, 1921 and grew up in Conrad, MT, attending local schools. She lived in the Shelby / Cut Bank area of Montana for many years. In 1955 she moved to Coeur d’Alene and worked as a nurse’s aid. She moved to Sandpoint in 1982, continuing to work as a nurse’s aid until retiring in 1986.
She was a member of the Sandpoint Christian Center for more than 15 years. She enjoyed taking care of her family and her grand children.
She is survived by her husband Harold Ulen of Sandpoint, ID; 5 children Shirley Kester of Billings, MT; Leland (and Anita) Steinbrenner of Vancouver, WA; Sharon Warren of Sandpoint, ID; Marilyn (and Forest) Perkins of KY; Patsy (and Richard) Morris of KY. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren including locally Stephen and Trevor Eidson of Sandpoint, ID; 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband Frank Ferraro, 5 brothers and 3 sisters preceded her in death.
