Alta Louise Leech

Alta Louise Leech passed away peacefully on December 11, 2007 with her family and frieds with her. She was born in Redlands, California but spent most of her life in Portland, Oregon. She married George there and they raised their family in that area. Family, Friends, Gardening and Fishing were among her interests as well as her love for pets. Her quick smile and ready laugh endeared her to many and around town she was known as the "Ladybug Grandma". One of her favorite treats was dark chocolate which she continued to enjoy up to the time of her death. She is survived by her daughter Sally, Grandsons, Brent and Gretchen and Dale and Corinna and great-grandchildren, Ben, Jessica, Danielle, and Laura. There will be a birthday party in celebration of her life at the Old Church in Hope on March 1, 2008.
