Lorayne Glass

Lorayne Glass, 96, of Sandpoint, Idaho, formerly of San Clemente, California, died peacefully in her sleep on November 4, 2012 in Sandpoint. Lorayne is predeceased by her husband Adolph C. Glass of 34 years. Private services will be held at Coffelt Funeral Home in Sandpoint. Lorayne (also known as “Lori” by all those who loved her) was a homemaker and mother of 4. She had an incredible zest for life that was witnessed by all those around her. She and her husband, Adolph, met in Art School. Her passion for anything artistic was a major part of who she was as a person. She won numerous awards throughout the years in all forms of art. Survivors include her 4 children, Randy Glass (and wife, Lisa), Lonnie Generaux, Lauren Longo and Romelle Eaton. Lori is also survived by 8 grand kids and 7 great grand kids. Lori was the type of person everyone wished they had in their life. She had a list of friends so long it was always a family joke that she kept the post office in business when sending out her Christmas Cards. With her kind heart, lively attitude and beautiful spirit, her family will miss her beyond words. She was and is the glue that every family needs. She and her curly “dandelion hairdo” will be greatly missed.
