Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 2nd in the First Christian Church. Pastor Tony Nelson and Pastor Steve Nickodemus will officiate.
Ron was born in Downey, CA on Feb. 13, 1963, the son of Ronald D. and Lila L. Brown. He attended high school in Mission Viejo, CA and started working as a pressman, doing commercial printing. On April 21, 1984 he married Kimberly Salyer in Laguna Hills, CA.
He was the manager for Pacific Irrigation in Laguna Hills, CA prior to moving to McCall, ID, in 1997, for health reasons and a better quality of life. In March of 2000 he moved his family to the Sandpoint area.
He enjoyed working on, and modifying, anything mechanical. He always tried to help everyone and enjoyed working on, and fixing, cars. As his health continued to fail he remained active and was a very precise person.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, and camping. He worked on building guns, shooting them, and bird hunting.
Ron was a strong Christian and wanted his children to believe and have faith. He used his faith to help, and encourage, his friends and his family.
He is survived by his wife Kim, 3 children Tim Brown, Lauren Brown, and Jon Brown all at home in Sandpoint; his parents Ronald D. and Lila L. Brown of Mission Viejo, CA; his brother Richard Brown of Ladera Ranch, CA; 2 sisters Katherine Brown of Lincoln, CA; Kimberly Brown of Mission Viejo, CA; and his grandmother Margaret McCall of Lakewood, CA.
