Thomas E. "Tommy" Johns

Thomas E. “Tommy” Johns, 71, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012. Family memorial services will be held later. Tommy was born in Ogden, Utah on Dec. 17, 1941. He graduated from high school in Ogden and earned his bachelor’s degree from Utah State. On Sept. 30 1989 he married Sally Clark in Texas. He worked, as a pipe fitter, in heavy construction throughout the Northwest, retiring in 2004. In 2005 he moved to Elmira, Idaho. He enjoyed gardening and photography, taking pictures of nature in the area. Tommy is survived by his wife Sally Johns, in Elmira; three children Katie Johns in Elmira; Andrew Johns in Sandpoint; Jennifer Cleven in Ogden, Utah; one grand daughter Emma Coots in Sandpoint; two brothers Marvin Johns in Salt lake City, Utah; and Billy Johns in Ogden, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents.
