Stephen Robert Resso

Stephen R. “Steve” Resso, 58, passed away enroute home from Phoenix, AZ on Friday, Dec, 28, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00PM, Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Dale Coffelt and Jerry Resso will be officiating. Burial will be later in the Westmond Cemetery. Steve was born Nov. 13, 1954 in Mobile, Alabama the son of Robert and Lluese Resso. In 1973 he graduated from high school in Beavercreek, Ohio and on April 15, 1975 married Karen Hauck. In 1975 he moved to Sagle, Idaho. He purchased, and operated, Bonner Concrete Products from 1981 until 1992. He has worked for Bonner County Bridge and Road for 24 years. He started as an equipment operator and for the last several years has been a heavy equipment mechanic. Steve enjoyed being outdoors, walking the land, working on his farm with his tractor and hunting. He enjoyed teaching life skills to his extended family and spending quality time with his family and his friends. He is survived by his wife Karen Resso; two children Daniel (and Danielle) Resso; Brian Resso; two grandchildren Darrian and Deanna; his sister Debra Frank; his brother Jerry Resso; Nieces and nephews David (and Sarah) Resso, Justin (and Amber) Koogler, Stephanie (and Joel) Long, Coleman (and Carolyn) Frank; grand nieces and nephews Libby and Carson Resso, Averie, Ellery and Everett Koogler, Joanna, Joy and Jora Long; two aunts Dean Hart and Hilda Resso; an uncle Pete (and Margaret Lowe) a brother in law Kevin (and Dee) Hauck; special “younguns” Rebecca. Caleb, Chad, Shawn, Tyler, and Melody; numerous cousins and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Avenue (Suite 200), Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
