Shirlene Myrtle Martin, 73, passed away on December 29, 2012 in Clark Fork, Idaho. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Jon Pomeroy, Sandpoint Church of God, officiating. Visitation hours will be on Monday, January 7, 2012 in the afternoon. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Shirlene was born on February 28, 1939 in Rapid City, South Dakota the daughter of Max and Rosie Stutzke. At a young age the family moved from South Dakota to Spokane, Washington, then moving to Hope, Idaho. Shirlene attended school in the Hope and Sandpoint area. In 1956, Shirlene married Donald Dale Dettwiler and moved to Clark Fork, Idaho where they would raise their children. They would later divorce. In 1971, she would marry Dennie Lin Martin and move to Orting, Washington. After her divorce to Dennie, Shirlene would move back to Clark Fork, Idaho in 2008. Shirlene loved to garden, can her vegetables, cook and sew. She will be greatly missed by her many good friends in Clark Fork. Shirlene is survived by her seven children Ralph Edwin (Roxanne) Stutzke of Tacoma, WA, Richard (Jeri) Dettwiler of Clark Fork, ID, Tammy Seaver of Tacoma, WA, Pamela Joy Dettwiler of Tacoma, WA, Dennie Lin (Chandra) Martin Jr., of Vancouver, WA, Pennie Luanne Flansburg of Tacoma, WA, and Candy Kay Johnston of Ritzville, WA; 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild that is on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Leanne and Marion, brothers Melvin and Gene Stutzke, son Randy Dettwiler and five great grandchildren.
