Bill R Adams

Bill R. Adams, 79, passed away in Coeur d’Alene, ID on Thursday, March 14, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Wednesday March 20, 2013 in St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Coeur d’Alene. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Sandpoint, Idaho. Bill was born in Islip, New York on December 21, 1933. He graduated from high school in Bay Shore, NY, later attending the S.U.N.Y. in Farmingdale, NY. He studied aircraft operations. He served with the US army from 1954 until 1956, In 1958 he went to work for the state of New York, retiring in 1989 as a child care supervisor. Following retirement he moved to Vermont and then to Coeur d’Alene, ID in 1994. He was a member of the St Lukes Episcopal Church. His hobbies included reading, hunting and fishing, boating and swimming. He is survived by his son John W. Adams in Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents Alford and Audrey Adams and his aunt Alice R. Beach.
