Vera Louise Stewart

Vera Louise Stewart, 88, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Sandpoint, Idaho. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. Vera was born on December 8, 1924 in Long Beach, Mississippi; the daughter of J.J. and Mary Reeves. She graduated from high school while living in Mobile, Alabama, later moving to North Carolina... In 1993 she moved to Southern California and then to Sandpoint in 2006. She had been a secretary for insurance companies and then worked for the Buncombe County Sheriff’s office in North Carolina until retiring in 1989. She enjoyed crocheting, writing poetry, and visiting the Casino in Bonners Ferry. Surviving are two daughters Sandy Soldano in Sandpoint, ID and Faye Jackson in Ashville, NC; 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother and a sister. Her son, Rocky Stewart, passed away on May 21st this year.
