Harold E Ulen

Harold E. Ulen, 80, passed away in Sandpoint, ID on Friday, April 25, 2008. Private Graveside services will be conducted at a later date He was born March 10, 1928 in North Dakota. He moved with his family to the Coeur d Alene area as a child where he grew up and attended schools. He later attended North Idaho College and served in the US Army for 4 years. Upon his discharge he returned to the Coeur d Alene area where he worked as a heavy equipment operator at various sawmills. He later worked for Hank Pondorff as a caretaker. He married Naomi Louise Farraro and she preceded him in death in 2007. Harold is survived by 4 children: Renee (Mike) Megie, Rick Ulen, Joleen Hicks, Karen ; 5 step children, including Sharon Warren of Ponderay; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren, Stephen and Trevor Eidson both of Sandpoint; and by 1 sister Anne Harris of Vancouver, WA. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by 1 grandson.
