Geraldine Edna Eastin

On Thursday, May 1st, 2008 our sweet mom, Geraldine Eastin, sister, aunt, grandma and friend passed over into the loving embrace of our Lord. She takes with her all our love and blessings and leaves us with so many wonderful memories. She had a huge love of life. Her laughter and smile will be in our hearts forever. She was born Dec. 6, 1935 in Sandpoint, Idaho the daughter of Andrew and Mary Carnegie. She attended Bonner County Schools, and married Junior Dwayne Eastin on Sept. 14, 1953 in Thompson Falls, Montana. She lived in Sandpoint and raised her family here. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, painting wildlife in oils, fishing, yard sales, bingo, traveling, but the joy of her life was taking care of her extensive family. She is survived by her 5 children: Dennis (and Justine) Eastin, Debbie (and Clay) Douglas, Diane (and Frank) Hankey, Donna Draughon (and Neal Mason), Mary(and Mike) Bush; 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; her step mother: Marie Klink, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Her parents and her beloved husband J.D preceded her in death. Memorial funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM, Saturday, May 10th, 2008 at the Sagle Senior Center.
