Velma Jean Tolson

Velma Jean Tolson, 65, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013 at her home in Sagle, Idaho. Private family services have been held. Velma was born on February 25, 1948 the daughter of John and Credie Ralph in Eldorado, Illinois. She attended elementary school in Illinois before moving to Colorado. Velma would attend a local college in Colorado and receive her AA. Family was everything to Velma. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her animals, and she never missed some of her favorite programs on TV. She also loved flowers, gardening but most of all her grand babies. Velma was a bright light in a dark world and will be very much loved and missed by her family and friends. She would never miss a chance to spoil her grand babies. Velma is survived by her two daughters Tonda Gunderson, and Debora Tolson; three sons David Gunderson, Danny Gunderson and James Tolson Jr.; her grandchildren Robbie Topp, Keaton Wright, Nick Gunderson, Logan Gunderson, Mikee Cole Wilson and many other grandchildren; her great grandchildren McKinzie Gunderson, and numerous others, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband James H Tolson Sr. of 24 years; her mother Credie Kissell; her father John Ralph and two sisters Christien and Maxine. Velma was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed.
