Everett LeRoy Nelson Jr.

Everett LeRoy Nelson, Jr., 62, passed away in Sandpoint, Id on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:15am, Tuesday, September 17th at the Washington State Veteran’s Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA. He will be buried with full military honors. Everett was born in Frankfurt, Germany on June 23, 1951. He moved to the Sacramento, California area as a child, attending local schools. He served with the US Army, receiving the Vietnam Service Medal. He later received his Masters Degree, in social studies, from Washington State University and was a social worker, helping veterans. He has lived in Sagle, ID since 2001 where he enjoyed music, woodworking, his back yard and gardening. He is survived by his wife Linda Nelson, in Sagle; five children Christian in Elk grove, CA; Levi in Coeur d’Alene, ID; Dale in Spokane, WA; Kenny in Sandpoint, ID; Jeff in Clarkston, WA. He is also survived by two granddaughters and his mother Jean Nelson in Sacramento, CA; a brother and two sisters.
