Denise Hamann Privett

January 25, 1961 — October 20, 2013

Denise Hamann Privett, 52, of Sandpoint passed away on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 following a short illness. A celebration of her life will take place next August in Sandpoint. Denise was born Jan. 25 1961 in National City, CA. She moved to Sandpoint, Idaho as a child, the place she referred to as home. After Graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1979, she spent most of her adult years in the Seattle area working as a talented lab technician. She was happily married to Chuck Privett in 1998 and spent many blissful years with her husband before he passed in 2006. Shortly after, Denise opened a new chapter by moving to Cedar Hills, TX where she dabbled at being a florist and continued her work as a lab technician. Denise will be remembered as a woman who was full of life and laughter. She could bring a smile to anyone's face with her sense of humor and kind nature. She was adventurous and artistic, always trying new things and definitely always working on a craft. Denise will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by: her father: Dennis Hamann of Sandpoint; her mother: Ann Hamann of Sandpoint; two sisters: Donna Hamann of Sandpoint and Diann (Jim) Abbott of Sedro Woolley, WA; by one niece Alicia Abbott of Sandpoint; and 1 nephew Justin Abbott of Sedro Woolley, WA.
