Clara Ann Forsythe, 82, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho on Friday, November 15, 2013
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 3:00 pm in Di Lunas Café.
Clara was born in Hamilton, Kansas on May 30, 1931, the daughter of Lemuel and Lura Short. When she was 5 years old the family moved, by train, to Los Angeles, California. She graduated from George Washington High School in Los Angeles, in 1950. She married Gordon L. Forsythe on Dec. 20, 1952, in Los Angeles, California.
She worked, as a secretary, for Youth With a Mission, traveling in Europe for many years.
She had lived in LA California and Grants Pass, Oregon prior to moving to Sandpoint in 1989. She enjoyed crocheting and supporting the Wishing Star Foundation.
She is survived by her husband Gordon L. Forsythe of Sandpoint, ID; two daughters Karen Forsythe of Sandpoint, ID; Susan Otis of Sagle, ID; 3 grandsons Justin Otis, Curran Otis, and Landon Otis; 2 great grand children and her sister Melba Stockwell in Silverdale, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers.
