Alberta Fay Lagerquist

Alberta Fay Lagerquist, 85, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00PM, Monday, December 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bob Sherill officiating. Interment will take place in the Clark Fork Cemetery. Fay was born on July 1, 1928 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, the daughter of Henry and Marie Archer. At a very young age the family would move to the Priest Lake area where she was raised and went to school. In her early teens they would move again to California where she graduated from high school in Hayward, California. In 1967, she would marry Donald Lagerquist in California. They would move to Clark Fork in 1987. In 2005, following the death of her husband she would move to Sagle, Idaho to be close to her son Steve Martin. Fay was a beloved wife and mother who loved to garden, grow flowers and vegetables and canning for her family. Fay is survived by her son Steve Martin of Sagle, daughter Barbara (Dennis) Gasman of St. Peters, MO; 3 step children Karen (Scott) Thompson, Janet (Don) Jensen and Bruce (Marie) Lagerquist. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2005, her parents and several brothers and sisters.
