Delvina M. Overholt

Delvina M. Overholt Known to all as Gramma Del, she has gone to be with her beloved Grandpa Wally in heaven. Born Nov. 19, 1921, she passed away June 8th at the Life Care Center in Sandpoint, Idaho. She was 86 years old. She is preceded in death by her husband Wallace Overholt; her brother Ellis Schanck of Troy Montana, and one grandson, Jay Cee Overholt of Sheldon, Iowa. She is survived by her three children: Sharlet Reeves of Trout Creek, Montana; Sandra Kluth and her husband Calvin of Conrad Montana, and Alvin Overholt of George, Iowa. She has four remaining grand children; three step grand children; eight great grand children and 13 step great grand children. Deeply spiritual, she was an active member of her church and the senior center. Family was the central point in her life, and she was the glue that held us all together. She will be deeply missed, but we know she’s still “kicking that football” with the angels. Due to health problems in the immediate family, we are unable to plan a memorial until possibly late July. Rather than flowers, a donation to any Alzheimer’s charitable organization would be most appreciated.
