Winifred “Wini” Alice Jent, 92, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in Sandpoint, Idaho.
Wini was born on February 12, 1921 in Waterville, Washington, the daughter of William and Alice Gutschow. She would attend and graduate from local schools in Waterville. Later, she would marry William Jent and have two children; William and Nance.
Wini would live most of her life in Bountiful, Utah where she would work as a manager for a dental office. After the death of her husband Wini would move to Ajo, Arizona where she would marry Bob Kelley. After the passing of Bob she would move to Spokane Valley, Washington in 2003, where she would live for nine years. In 2003, Wini met another wonderful man and golfing partner, Don Porter, with whom she liked to spend her time.
Wini had all of her sense until she was 92. She was even golfing and the age of 91. She was a rosie the riveter working on tearing down planes that were shot down during WWII
Wini is survived by her daughter Nance A Darlot of Sagle, Idaho; her three grandsons Aaron M Vierra of Sagle, Idaho, Ryan D Wells of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Travis A Jent of Spokane, Washington; one granddaughter Mikel Jent of Spokane, Washington; and her six great grandchildren, Cooper Vierra, Carson R Wells, Trapper C Vierra, Lincoln A Jent, Arabella A Jent, and Corbin Mitmoen.
She is preceded in death by her husband’s William Jent and Robert Kelley, her son William Jent, and great grandson Tyler Vierra.
