Cody Russell Grover

Cody Russell Grover passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 1:10 PM. We lost him due to complications of leukemia that he had been diagnosed with in July. Cody has been a life-long resident of Sandpoint, born here on September 14, 1993. He graduated from Sandpoint High School in 2012 while he was battling his 3rd episode of bone cancer. During high school, he worked at Dubs Drive In, which he loved and enjoyed immensely. He also enjoyed activities on the water such as swimming, fishing, and floating the Pack River. At Schweitzer, he loved snowboarding. Because of his determination, he was good at everything he set his mind to, and always with a care-free attitude. Cody truly did not let anything bring him down. Cody is survived by his eight siblings Charla, Liz, Kurt, Kevin, Heather, Heidi, Matthew, Katie, and their families, as well as his parents Bruce and Diane and grandfather Dale Brimley. Services for Cody will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints building on Schweitzer Cutoff Road on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10 am. Please come join us to commemorate this amazing young fighter. In lieu of flowers, donations to cancer research or Jacey's Race would be greatly appreciated.
