Roberta Ann Burnham (Mattson) passed away suddenly on April 12, 2014 due to complications from the flu. Known as Bert to her friends and family, she was born on June 19, 1948 in Lewiston, Idaho and grew up in Orofino, Idaho.She married her husband, Terry Hale Burnham, on November 23, 1968 and moved to Sandpoint, Idaho. They lived on a small farm and raised three daughters. She was very proud of participated as a leader in 4-H for many years and of her beautiful artwork; although, she would not tell you that. She dabbled in many forms of painting, but she specialized in canvas oil paintings.She is survived by her husband, Terry; daughters, Cindy Jo and Sandy Lynn; sisters, Evonne Cameron and Tina Rabidue; brother, Clarence “Sparky” Mattson; grandson, Kyler Austen Burnham; granddaughter, Carmen Wakili; great-granddaughter, Donya Wakili; and mother-in-law, Virginia Watts.She was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Mattson; father, Clarence “Frenchie” Mattson; brothers, Eric Mattson, Mark Mattson, Milan Mattson and Terry Mattson; daughter Wanda Leigh Jones; and father-in-law Don Watts.She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother.Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jon Pomeroy, Sandpoint Church of God, officiating. Interment will take place in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
