Arthur "Bob" Scheimeister

Arthur “Bob” Scheimeister, 92 a long time resident of Hope passed away on Saturday April 19, 2014 at Life Care of Sandpoint. Funeral services for Bob will be conducted 3:00PM, Monday, April 28, 2014 at Coffelt Funeral Chapel with Pastor Fred Page of Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church officiating. Private interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park.Bob was born December 7th, 1921 in the Bronx, New York the son of Henry and Martha Scheimeister. He grew up in New Jersey and graduated from South River High School in South River, New Jersey in 1941. After high school, he met the love of his life, Marie Naglemayer. Bob and Marie were married for more than 63 years and celebrated their anniversary together last week.Bob and Marie moved to Brentwood, California where they had and raised their daughter Donna. Bob worked for IBM and retired and later moved to Hope, Idaho where they built their dream home. Bob was an avid fisherman and loved looking over Lake Pend Oreille, reminiscing about his many fishing trips. Bob was definitely one of the most generous and kind hearted men you would ever meet.Bob is survived by his wife Marie and only grandson, Scott Wieman of Los Angeles, California. He was preceded in death by his daughter Donna Wieman.
