Jerry Allen Roe, Sr.

Jerry Allen Roe, Sr., 76 of Sandpoint passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Life Care Center. Memorial services will be conducted in the family plot in New Jersey. He was born May 18, 1938 in Franklin, NJ the son of Harry and Anna Roe. He was raised and educated in New Jersey. Jerry faithfully served his country in the U.S. Air Force. After his honorable discharge and receiving his engineering degree from Newark College of Engineering he worked as a civil engineer for Hydro Conduit Corporation at various places around the country. In 2000 he came to visit a friend in Sandpoint and in 2004 married that friend, Sandra. Jerry was a member of the American Legion and was a gifted woodworker. In addition to his wife Sandra of Sandpoint he is survived by 3 children: Jerry (Gina) Roe, Jr of Alamo, Georgia, Brian Roe of Berryton, KS, Sheila Grosdidier of Lawrence, KS; 2 step children: Annie Quimby of Hayden, ID, Robert Bevacqua of Orange County, CA; by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 step-daughter: Sherry Collins.
